NBC Set to Announce Whether KSES Will Be Chosen For A School Pride Makeover, Tuesday June 08 @ 8:00 AM

KSES students, parents, and members of the community are asked to report to Harpeth Middle School on Tuesday, June 08 at 8AM to find out if KSES will be chosen for a make-over through NBC's television show School Pride.

June 07, 2010 Update: IMPORTANT information from KSES principal Jill Bramble regarding drop-off, pick-up, and parking for tomorrow’s School Pride announcement:

KSES students, family, teachers and the community are invited to this event. You are encouraged to stay with your child as pick-up time is uncertain. Parking is available at Harpeth High School, Westview Baptist Church, and Harpeth Middle school back lot only. No parking is available in the Harpeth Middle School front lot  or side area near the bradford pear trees.

If you must drop your child off, drop off instructions are as follows:

Drop Off: Students may be dropped off in the front of Harpeth Middle School between 7:45AM and 8AM. No drop-offs will be accepted after 8:15AM.

Pick Up: After 2PM in the front parking lot of Harpeth Middle School.

If you are dropping off please pack a sack lunch for your child, as the cafeteria will not be open at this time.

Kingston Springs Elementary School Principal Jill Bramble sent out an all-call to KSES parents inviting parents, students, and members of the community to report to the Harpeth Middle School gym on Tuesday, June 08 at 8AM where NBC is set to announce whether KSES will be chosen for a makeover through their show School Pride.

Ms. Bramble is hoping for a huge turnout for this announcement. Everyone is invited to come and show their community and school pride.

Please wear your KSES t-shirts. If you don’t have a KSES t-shirt, Ms. Bramble asks that you show your school pride by wearing cardinal red. You may also wear a KSES athletic uniform.

NBC cameras will be present. It is asked that no logos other than the KSES cardinal or KSES name be worn at this time. If you do not have a KSES t-shirt, please wear a plain red t-shirt or any other logo-free clothing.

Kingston Springs Elementary School lost everything except the structure itself when six feet of flood water tore through the building in May.

KSES was devastated during the flood of May 2010. The school lost everything except the structure itself.
